. GEORGE EDWARD3 COULSON (THOMAS2, JOSEPH HENERY1) was born February 27, 1889 in Dakota Territory, farm NE of Lake Preston, SD, and died July 24, 1988 in Veterans Administration Hospital, Hot Springs, SD. He married ELIZABETH KARBAN November 09, 1919 in Lake Preston, SD. She died 1948.

"George Coulson Honored on 94th Birthday, February 27,1983 at the Veterans Home in Hot Springs SD where he is now living. Among guests were Mr. & Mrs. Mayland Odden, Lake Preston, Pam Bjordahl and Tim Peterson of Hot Springs and Janet (Wienk) Koller and girls from Edgemont."
George and Lizzie farmed south of Lake Preston (1977) now owned by Mayland Odden. After Lizzie's death, George moved to a farm near DeSmet, later joined by Alyce (sp) whose husband died. Later when they decided to winter in Texas, brother Charlie joined them.
