Edith wasn't born yet when the 6/14/1900 1900 Census was taken. According to Pearl Larson's notes in 1972, Edith married Dale Dunbar, a dentist in California. No children. Edith taught school. Teaching foreign children to speak American. Do lots of traveling abroad.
Went to school in Erwin, moving with her parents to Santa Cruz CA in 1919. Went to high school and later college. High school in Santa Cruz, CA and College in San Jose, CA. She took up teaching and taught Mexican and other children of foreign languages to speak American.
Later married Dale Dunbar a dentist.
Now retired, they do a lot of traveling. In 1977 took a 5 week trip to France. Had no children. Now live at Laguna Beach, CA. In 1983 sold their home and moved because of Dale's failing health. 1986 Dale broke a leg in a car accident caused by metal object flying off a junk truck. Later, suffered a stroke. Needed extensive care. Moved into a condominium where Edith has a day and night nurse to care for him. After his stroke was in a wheelchair for years. Sold their home and moved into an apartment. Dale died 1990.
